Is ADHD a Superpower?

ADHD is not a superpower. ADHD can lead to some superpowers, but it can also lead to some serious incidents and disasters.

It’s very charm to educate the public only about the positive aspects, it’s more appealing, and it sells better, but does it actually change the reality?

Several reports from the last 20 years indicate that people with ADHD has a higher probability to show a poorer academic and career performance, to be in an accident, to engage in an addictive behavior, and involve in more risks. Even there have been reports that up to 40% of male prison population have ADHD. Not to say that ADHD is the only player in all those problems, but it definitely shows strong footprints in all of them.

Your education can only be a good education if you talk about both sides of the problem. And proper help can only be given if we see the reality as the way it is, not the way we want it to be.
